ORSU’s Women’s Premier League Team in Portland, Oregon

The USA Rugby Women's Premier League is the top annual American women's rugby union competition and operates in partnership with USA Rugby. It involves the top 10 women’s clubs in the country. The competition began in 2009 and provides a competition for the women’s elite rugby players in the USA. ORSU has been privileged to be part of this league for many years, and continues to not only compete at this top level but to feed young women into the USA Eagles rugby team.

Looking to become an elite player and compete in the WPL? Want to be more of a social player and play a game of rugby on Saturdays? You can do either with ORSU! We’re proud to be one of the only women’s programs in the Northwest who can offer multiple sides for players looking to play rugby at any level.

Come out for a practice and learn more about this great game! All you need for practice is some cleats (soccer cleats work great!), athletic clothes, and eventually a mouth guard.
